Overview

This page explains how to request deletion of your Eixam account and the personal data associated with it. You can submit a request at any time, free of charge, by sending us an email as described below.

What will be deleted

Once we have verified your request, we delete the personal data linked to your Eixam account, including:

  • Your account and profile information, such as your name, email address, and sign-in credentials.
  • Contact details and the settings or preferences saved to your account.
  • Location, activity, and safety data you generated through the app.
  • Content you submitted, such as reports, messages, or files associated with your account.

How to request deletion

To request deletion of your account and its data, send an email to hello@eixam.io from the email address linked to your Eixam account. Please use the subject line “Delete my data” and include the email or account identifier you use to sign in, so we can locate your account.

Verifying your request

To protect your account, we may need to confirm your identity before deleting your data — for example, by asking you to confirm the request from the email address on file. We use this information only to process your request.

Timeframe

We action verified deletion requests without undue delay and in any case within 30 days of receiving them. We will confirm by email once your data has been deleted.

Data we may retain

We may retain a limited amount of information where the law requires it (for example, to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations), or in anonymized or aggregated form that can no longer be linked to you. Any residual copies held in secure backups are removed in the ordinary course of our backup rotation.
